Dear all, 

We are happy to announce the attendance rate during the first week rehearsal was over 83%. 

Rehearsal Time

30th of November, Friday, No rehearsal. (Kindly practise on your own)
1st of December, Saturday, No rehearsal. (Kindly practise on your own) 
2nd of December, Sunday, at CCFPL at  1230pm

As we have regional cell on this Friday, there are no teens' meeting. Consequently, there will be no rehearsal. For those who cannot attend rehearsal, please practice on your own. Thank you for your understanding. We are sorry for any inconveniences caused.

New members
We are happy to announce that there are 2 new members joining our choir this week. They are Christel Li (*Soprano) and Angelie (*Alto)

*-> member has been randomly assigned to given part. Member might be reassigned to different part after determining the vocal range.

Kindly note application is open all year round.

Kindly note, unlike Mathematics or English literature, we cannot cram all the knowledge in one day/night, music works differently, the brain needs more time to process these information  So, kindly listen to your part for several times. Even if you cannot master it at first, Give yourself some time.Kindly note we will not sing Diamond bright as announced previously due to time constraint. However, We will sing O Come O Come Emmanuel instead, a much more manageable song. And, we will sing Praise ye the Father with the elderly choir.

Clarifications pertaining to announcement previously made

Dear all,

After meeting with members during the past few days, we took notice of your concerns. kindly see below for some clarifications. 

Rehearsals

Rehearsal sessions on Friday nights are fixed till the end of Christmas performance. 

Practice is around 15~30mins before teen/youth's meeting at CCF RH.

i.e. The practise date, time and location are:

23rd of November 7:15pm at CCF RH

30th of November 7:15pm at CCF RH

7th of December  7:15pm at CCF RH

14th of December 7:15pm at CCF RH

21th of December 7:15pm at CCF RH

As Pastor Eunice is leaving, there has been some changes with the practice date, time and location of the worship team. So, in order to cope with them. For this coming Saturday, 24th of November, rehearsal is at 3:00pm at CCF RH.

We will notify you about rehearsal date, time and location for the other Saturdays. We are sorry for any inconveniences caused. Henceforth, we will have closer communication with the worship team.

For this coming Sunday, 25th of November, rehearsal is at 12:30pm at CCF PL. (Decision based on data collected from members who responded to the questionnaire, see attached).

You are advised to attend only one rehearsal session per week.

For member(s) who cannot attend all three rehearsal sessions, kindly contact us.

"Diamond bright - Alto" is for the altos only.

"Diamond bright - Tenor" is for the tenors only.

"Diamond bright - Bass" is for the basses only.

"Diamond bright - SATB" gives you an idea of what happens when Sopranos, altos, tenors and basses sing together.

Only the notes are played in the audio files for your reference. Listen repeatedly until you are comfortable with it. Then, try to sing along.

Diamond bright

Announcements

Dear choir members

We are very happy to announce that CCF Youth Choir will be performing 2 songs (including a short one with the elderly choir, TBA) on the 23rd of December this year. All members are expected to participate.

New members

We are happy to announce that there are 6 new members joining our choir. They are Welsa (soprano), Ivy (alto), Terry (baritone), Eric (bass), Jean(*Tenor) and Lee Yiang (*Alto). God is good, all the time and all the time, God is good. Amen!

Rehearsals

Rehearsals on Friday nights are unchanged.

Practise is 15~30mins before teen/youth's meeting at CCF RH.

For rehearsals on Saturdays and Sundays, another email will be sent to you shortly. Kindly fill in the time slot so we may make the necessary arrangements.

Conclusion

Having a heart willing to serve and worship the Lord is truly commendable. Brothers and sisters in Christ, mastering 2 songs under 4 weeks is not impossible, place your trust in God, keep your faith and pray. In the meanwhile, listen to the audio files, put in hard work in serving the Lord. Practise, practise and practise on your own, we don't have much time left for rehearsal. Try your best and God will do the rest!
