Rehearsal with Elderly Choir - 28th of November 2013

Dear all,

Tonight, we attended the rehearsal of the elderly choir. Though we were few, we sang several songs. It is really admirable to see the elderly choir members singing without ceasing every Thursday night at 1900 at CCF RH. They keep persevering and stay dedicated to serving the Lord through music and hymn. Hallelujah! Blessed be HIS name!

There is no limit to the number of participants in the elderly choir. Interested members may reply through this email. Thank you.

Participation in the Christmas Carol organised by St Paul Church - Rehearsal

Dear all,

Tonight at 20:00, in Port Louis, one member attended St Paul's Church Christmas Carol's rehearsal. He met beautiful people with wonderful voices. He is learning about the diverse musical opportunities, is being better aware of the difference church culture differences and is developing himself to be a better musician to serve the Lord.

There is still one quota for participating. Interested parties may reply the choir mail.

Christmas choir rehearsal - 23rd of November 2013

Dear all,

We are really delighted attending the rehearsal together with the Teen Ministry. Over 20 members attended today's session and sang both 'Joy to the world' and 'We wish you a merry Christmas' wonderfully. Annabelle, Elsie and Serena accompanied the choir with precision and beauty. Next Saturday 30th of November 2013 at 1500 at CCF RH, we will begin practising the third song: Hark! The herald angel sing. Hallelujah! Blessed be HIS name!

Christmas 2013

Dear all,

Christmas 2013
Collaboration with CCF Teens Ministry (Strongly advised)
This year, we have the pleasure to collaborate with the Teens' Ministry. We will be singing 3 songs: We wish you a Merry Christmas, Joy to the World and Hark! The herald angels sing. The former two will be sung in one voice. The latter will be sung in 4 parts voices. The first rehearsal will be on this coming Saturday 23rd of November 2013 at 1500 at CCF RH.

We want YOU in this collaboration. Send an email to CCFYC for an exciting experience and collaborative opportunity with Teens Ministry!

Participation in CCF Elder Choir (Optional)
The Elderly Choir will be singing 'Crown the newborn king' during Christmas service on the 22nd of December. We will sing in one voice. Rehearsals are on Thursdays 19:30 at CCF RH. Interested parties may send an email to CCFYC.

Participation in the Christmas Carol organised by St Paul Church (Optional)
St Paul Church, as in previous years, would organize Christmas Carols on the 24th of December. Pastor Kevin and Pastor Ticou have communicated beforehand and both parties agreed that we participate. This is an event organised by St Paul Church and CCF Church is only participating.

All songs will be sung in one voice. Rehearsals are usually on Sunday afternoon at St Paul Church, Port Louis. Ticou offered a quota of 5 places and now, there is only 1 vacant position left. For more information, send an email to our youth choir.

Prayer:
In this season of Christmas and thanksgiving, we are very thankful for your people, your church and your choir. You are the creator, the alpha and omega, we do not follow people, some will say "I follow Paul"; another "I follow Apollos"; another, "I follow Cephas"; but, we follow Christ. We follow You only. O Lord, guide us, that the world may know your only Son through this Christmas. Lead us Lord, lead your choir, your people, lead your church. In the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Your humble servant,
CCFYC

Concert 4 voix 2013 - Sharing

Bernard
Merci. Merci au public qui nous chaleureusement. Merci! Dieu vous bénisse!
Kenrick Concert 4 voix
First of all I want to thanks my grandma who told me to take part in this concert . I want to thank Mr & Mrs Liang for their help to improve my voice. I thank them for always trusting in me in every situation. The benefits that I had in participating in the concert 4 voix are that we learnt more about our own voice and learnt the way to better mix our voice with others.
I thank Ecole Arpege, Mr appadou and all the musicians who helped us and contributed selflessly to these concerts.
And, I want to thank each and every people who placed their trust in us and every single one who have prayed for us. In Him!
Michael What I specially liked about the 4 part choir is the interaction between elderly and youth. I greatly enjoyed that as we mingled more and had more interaction with them through the rehearsals.
Through my participation, I met some elders whom I never imagined I would have talked to them in other circumstances. I also liked the interaction and cooperation we had between the different churches involved. I personally think that the level of involvement, cooperation and willingness is a magnificent testimony to Godly love between brothers and sisters in Christ. It also was a great opportunity for us to see the wonderful talents that God has blessed us with. The songs, music, dances, sketches.
Highly looking forward to next year! God bless!
